Travellers from all countries are allowed to enter.
Tourists must have a confirmed booking at a registered tourist facility/hotel and fulfill visa requirements.
The booking for the entire holiday must be at the same hotel/resort/liveaboard vessel, except for transit purposes.
Tourists are allowed to travel between resorts. They must have a permission from Ministry of Tourism at least two days before the travel date. The resorts must have no coronavirus positive cases for at least 28 days and should be able to conduct exit screenings to record travellers' temperatures and medical history.
Travellers arriving for a short term work based visit (less than 14 days) need to obtain special permission from HPA (Health Protection Agency).Request for permission has to be made by the concerned/liaised local agency.
Temperature checks and screening measures will be carried out at the airport upon arrival.
All visitors are encouraged to download the contact tracing application ‘Trace Ekee’ upon or before arrival.
all tourists and short-term travellers to Maldives must present a negative result of a PCR test taken no more than 96 hours before departure.The result should be in English lanuage.
